Visiting
Washington, DC Maps and
Directions
Parking in DC and on Capitol Hill
Our advice is to take the Metro or a taxi (easily hailed on most streets
in DC) as parking in DC is a pain.
Getting to Capitol
Hill by
Metro
Using the
Metro is highly recommended as parking in the area is extremely
limited.
Blue Line or Orange Line:
The Capitol South Metro elevator is on the Northwest corner of 1st Street SE and D Street
SE. Take the
Metro Blue Line or the Metro Orange Line to the Capitol South station

Getting to Capitol
Hill by Car
Traveling by car is discouraged as parking
in the area is extremely limited. Alternatives include parking at Union Station
(Metro:
Union Station) or the
Washington
Design Center (Metro:
Federal Center SW) and taking
the Metro to the
Capitol South Metro
stop,
walking or taking a cab.
