Fundamentals of Legal Research: Finding the Law
Find and Use Cases, Statutes, Rules and Regulations

This course shows your staff how to efficiently locate and use legal information including case law, statues, rules and regulations.

This program helps you locate and use legal documents quickly and effectively.  You'll learn:

  • The fastest ways to find and use legal documents in print or online
  • Different case types (state-federal, trial-appeal), primary and secondary sources, and citators
  • The case citation system

When the program is held outside the Washington, DC metro area, travel arrangements for faculty can be made by the client or by us.
