August 3-8, 2008, team camp

Residential Camp at Deep Creek Lake, MD
Camp Deep Creek,
1050 Bumble Bee Road,
Accident, MD (west of Frostburg, close to the MD-WV border).
$575, including bus transportation to camp.
Please register and make at least a $100
deposit at

by June 22, 2008. Go to Residential Camp August 3-8, 2008, and ether pay the balance or put down the deposit.
Payment can be made online using Google checkout.

- Campers should bring about $50 spending money for the week (campers will go to miniature golf, go-carts, creamery, etc).
- Bring single sheets for sleeping accommodations. Also, please refer to the
website under residential camps which will list the items to bring.
- The temperature gets cool at night so plan accordingly when you are packing.
- We will have a camp bank.
- We will have a camp store which will sell Gatorade, candy, water, pizza, & popcorn.
The bus schedule below is
preliminary:
August 3, 2008, 12:30 pm: bus pick up at Park and Ride at
Interstate 270 at Falls Road (The Park and Ride is off of Interstate
270, the Falls Road (MD Rte. 189) Exit. When you take the Falls Road exit, the Park and Ride is to the right once you get off of the ramp. It is to the right of the yield sign once you get off of the exit.)
No more than 2 bags per person when traveling on the bus.
Check-in at Deep Creek Camp is Sunday, August 3, 2008, from 3:30 - 4:30 pm,
and orientation begins at 4:30 pm.
Friday, August 8, 2008, 1:45-2:15 pm: bus drop off at Park and Ride at
Interstate 270 at Falls Road
The bus will depart from Camp Deep Creek around 11:00 am, and will not be making any
stops along the way. Your child will call you on their way home when they are 1 hour from
the drop off.
The trip takes about 3 hours, but please be in contact with your child, as Friday traffic can be unpredictable.

Plan on meeting Mr. Mullins at
NOON at Woodson HS (9525
Main St, Fairfax VA), in the
parking lot, in front of our home field. For those of you who are new, that's
the west parking lot, by the main gate to the football field. We will leave
promptly at NOON! We need to drive to Potomac, MD., off of I-270 to meet the
bus. If it makes more sense for you to meet in MD, below are the directions.
Please let me know if you will not be meeting us at Woodson HS and will meet us
in MD.
The bus to camp will leave on Sunday,
August 5, 2007, at approximately 12:45 pm from Falls Road Local Park,
12600 Falls Road, Potomac, MD, 20854, 301-299-0024.

The bus will leave Deep Creek Camp at noon, and drop the girls off at Falls
Road Local Park,
12600 Falls Road, Potomac, MD, at approximately 3:30 pm. We need
parents to pick up on Friday. Brenda E. has volunteered, but her car only holds
3 girls. That means we need to get 7 more girls from the Park in MD. to Woodson
HS. Let Mr. Mullins know if you can meet the bus at the Park in MD on
Friday, August 10, 2007, at 3:30 pm.
